VVR-LUX System Structure
The system structure in the VVR-LUX is shown as the figure below, which is mainly divided into three major modules, as explained as following respectively:
- Service for the device agent: The Device Agent, abbreviated as DA, is the so-called log server, whose main functions are responsible to accept the system log data in the network equipment, and analyze and cut the log data, and store them into the data sheet in the database according to the categories of the equipments and the logs, to provide the report for the enquiry in the future.
- Relationship-type database: Store the log data received by the DA, and provide the report for the enquiry in the future, and at present, the databases supported by it have two major categories, which are respectively: MS SQL Server 2000 and PostgreSQL 8.0.
Web-page service: VVR-LUX Report Web Server, to provide the services for the front ports in the operation like the report inquiry, the download, the remittance and the system administration, etc, and as long as through the Web browser, the user can enter this system to operate.
